WilliamsMarston Announces 2025 Promotions

WilliamsMarston LLC (“WM”), a national leader in complex accounting, tax, valuation transaction advisory services, is pleased to announce seven Director and four Manager promotions effective January 1, 2025.

Director

Nick brings seven years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Nick has advised clients in the software, clinical research, and technology industries. He has advised clients on a variety of matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting under ASC 842, SEC Reporting, as well as merger and acquisitions, post-merger integration and ERP implementations. Nick has also served as an interim technical revenue analysis manager for a public global software company.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Nick worked in the Audit practice of KPMG LLP’s New York City office. While at KPMG, Nick served as the in-charge senior associate on a large global SEC registrant in the facility services industry and a smaller component engagement reporting to a large public filer. He has extensive experience providing audit services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and has advised clients in the retail, consumer products, facility services and education industries.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Joe brings seven years of accounting, reporting and advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Joe has advised clients in the software, media, biotechnology, retail, healthcare and life sciences industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including, but not limited to, stock-based compensation, lease accounting under ASC 842, segment reporting, accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments including convertible debt, preferred stock and SAFEs. In addition, he has advised clients with IPO readiness and SEC reporting and filings. Joe has served as an interim Controller for a biotechnology company.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Joe was a Senior Associate in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston where he primarily served clients in the asset and wealth management, real estate and not-for-profit industries. While at PwC, Joe assisted some of the firm’s largest public and private clients with fair value reporting, restructuring, liquidation, acquisitions and initial audits.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Babson College.

Jake brings eight years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Jake has assisted clients in the biotechnology, life sciences and consumer products industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including collaborative arrangements, revenue recognition, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for lease accounting under ASC 842.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Jake worked in the Audit practice of EY LLP in Boston and Cambridge for four years where he served a range of clients from private start-ups to global large-accelerated filers, primarily in the life sciences industry. While at EY, Jake provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP including ASC 606 and 842 adoption, SEC reporting, business combinations, restructuring activities and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Jake is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from Boston College.

Olivia brings eight years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Olivia has advised clients on system implementations, revenue recognition, lease accounting, audit readiness, and equity transactions. Her expertise includes matters pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, inventory, restructuring, consolidations and financial statement close processes. Olivia’s industry experience includes medical device, SaaS, real estate, consumer products and biotechnology. She has served in interim management roles for companies in the insurance, capital markets, and education industries.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Olivia worked in the Audit practice of EY LLP in Boston for two years. While at EY, her clients included large SEC registrants and a small real estate partnership.

Olivia is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from Boston College.

Andrea brings six years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Andrea has assisted clients in the biotechnology, healthcare and technology industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition under ASC 606, purchase accounting, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, consolidation analysis, and accounting for financial instruments such as convertible debt and preferred equity. Andrea has also served in an interim SEC reporting and technical accounting management role for a publicly traded biotechnology company.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Andrea was a Manager of Technical Accounting at a publicly traded healthcare company in Miami. Her role included performing accounting analyses for non-routine and significant transactions such as business combinations, variable interest entities, debt, revenue recognition, and the implementation of ASC 842. Andrea also spent four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Miami where she provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance for both public and private clients in the aviation and tourism industries. Areas of focus included audit planning and risk assessment, as well as complex financial topics such as goodwill and intangibles, fixed assets and related impairments and liquidity cash flow analyses.

Andrea is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami where she obtained both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s in Accounting.

Carlos brings seven years of corporate tax experience to WilliamsMarston.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Carlos was a Manager with Moffett & Associates. Carlos began his career at EY LLP in Dallas where he provided clients in the real estate, internet retail, and financial services industries compliance and tax advisory services.

Carlos is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor in Business Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.

Michael brings eight years of valuation, financial reporting and risk management experience to WilliamsMarston. His valuation expertise includes financial reporting needs such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, and debt instrument valuations. Michael’s broad industry experience includes financial services and technology, among others.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Michael was a Vice President at Oracle Capital LLC assisting in valuation needs for both public and private clients across numerous industries. Previously, Michael was a Manager in the Advisory Services practice at Crowe LLP, a national public accounting firm, in both the Chicago and Denver offices. While at Crowe, Michael focused specifically with clients in the financial services sector to provide valuation services, transaction services and credit analytics.

Michael is Accredited in Business Valuation from the AICPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from The Ohio State University.

Manager

Michelle brings six years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Michelle has assisted clients in the biotechnology, consumer products, software and aeronautical engineering industries. She has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including lease accounting under ASC 842, complex revenue arrangements, carve-outs, goodwill, collaborative agreements and consolidation, business combinations, stock-based compensation, audit readiness, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and accounting for complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants and preferred stock. Michelle has also served in various interim management roles for both public and private companies in the biotechnology, consumer products and software industries.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Michelle was an Associate in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Hartford, CT where she served both public and private clients in the manufacturing, consumer products and real estate industries. While at PwC, Michelle also provided audit and advisory services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Elon University.

Sean brings four years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston.​ Since joining the firm, Sean has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, revenue recognition, licensing arrangements, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments. He has served in interim accounting roles for public and private companies in the biotechnology industry.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Sean was a Senior Associate in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston, where his clients included both public and private companies in the technology, retail, and aerospace & defense sectors. While at PwC, Sean provided services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. He also assisted clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including lease accounting, revenue recognition and stock-based compensation.​

Sean is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Ashley brings six years of tax accounting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Ashley has advised clients on ASC 740, accounting for income taxes, including the preparation of the corporate income tax provision and the related financial statement disclosures, and income tax compliance. Ashley’s industry experience includes biotechnology, healthcare, retail and consumer products, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Ashley was a Senior Associate in the Corporate Tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she spent time in both the Chicago and Boston offices. While at PwC, Ashley provided tax consulting services related to year-end provision preparation, audit support and various other tax advisory services. Her industry experience includes assisting public and private companies within the consumer products, biotechnology and telecommunications industries.

Ashley is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.

Morgan brings five years of tax accounting and compliance experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, Morgan has focused primarily on federal and state income tax compliance for corporate, partnership and individual clients as well as on the accounting for income taxes under ASC 740, working on quarterly tax provisions and memos for corporate clients. He has provided tax services for clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, energy and investment industries.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Morgan was a Senior Tax Consultant in the tax practice at Deloitte LLP in New York. While at Deloitte, he provided federal and state tax compliance, as well as other tax consulting services to private equity clients. Morgan also served as a Tax Accountant at NKSFB, LLC where he provided private wealth tax compliance and tax planning services to a range of high-net-worth individuals.

Morgan is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Binghamton University.

Corporate

Ryan brings 11 years of financial reporting and accounts receivable experience to WilliamsMarston.

Ryan comes to WilliamsMarston as a result of the acquisition of Oracle Capital LLC (Oracle) which provided valuation advisory services for intangible assets, impairment of intangible assets, stock options and complex securities and fair value accounting to privately-held and publicly-traded companies throughout the world. At Oracle, Ryan coordinated the billing process for all of Oracle’s clients, was engaged in all aspects of accounts receivable and assisted with human resources and administrative projects.

Prior to Oracle, Ryan was a financial reporting analyst at Leidos, which is one of the Top 10 US Federal Government contractors (by obligation), supporting defense, aviation, information technology, and biomedical research. He interfaced primarily with accounts receivable, auditors (Deloitte, in particular), accounting, and treasury, often with ad hoc reporting. He was involved in the Leidos/SAIC spinoff as well as the finance-side integration during the Lockheed Martin IS&GS merger which made Leidos the largest defense industry IT services provider.

Keri brings four years of financial industry support experience to WilliamsMarston.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Keri was a Marketing Coordinator at Bain Capital, offering logistical support across the Investor Relations team. Prior to that, she was a member of Bain Capital Credit’s presentations team, where she offered support for marketing material production across credit strategies. She began her career at State Street Global Advisors as an administrative assistant to members of the company’s Institutional Client Group.

Keri graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University in 2019.
