Director – Accounting Advisory

Joe brings eight years of accounting, reporting, and advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, he has advised clients in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology industries on complex technical accounting matters, including stock-based compensation, lease accounting, mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, debt, and preferred stock. He has also guided clients through audit readiness, IPO preparation, and other public offerings.

Joe has served as interim controller for both public and private biotechnology companies, where he oversaw month-end close, financial reporting, and key operational processes such as procure-to-pay, payroll, and budgeting and forecasting.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Joe was a Senior Associate in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston. There, he primarily supported clients in the asset and wealth management, real estate, and not-for-profit sectors. His work included assisting some of the firm’s largest public and private clients with fair value reporting, restructuring, liquidation, acquisitions, and initial audits.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He holds both a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Babson College.
