The Challenge
The organization relied on a single Excel workbook to consolidate financials across hundreds of entities, which introduced version control issues, manual delays, and limited transparency.
Pro forma assumptions, EBITDA addbacks, and financial reporting were embedded in macros and spreadsheets with limited drill-down capabilities. Stakeholders lacked timely access to transaction‑level and branch‑level performance metrics, making it difficult to monitor KPIs across a rapidly growing footprint. At the same time, the organization needed to accelerate its close process and support ongoing acquisitions, having grown from 250 to 850 practices in four years, which created urgency for a more scalable and reliable reporting solution.
The Solution
The AIT Consulting team conducted targeted design workshops with key decision‑makers to define critical requirements and future‑state use cases within OneStream.
The team implemented a scalable reporting framework that supported the onboarding and consolidation of both existing and newly acquired practice locations. EBITDA addbacks and pro forma assumptions were centralized directly within OneStream to ensure consistency, auditability, and governance. Legacy Excel macros were replaced with automated, dashboard‑driven reporting and direct SharePoint distribution, while enhanced drill‑down and transaction‑level visibility provided deeper insight across the organization. The resulting solution delivered a unified reporting platform built to scale alongside the business including AI driven forecasting and anomaly detection initiatives.
The Result
As a result of AIT’s support, management and field leaders gained access to real‑time financial and operational reporting through dynamic OneStream dashboards.
Stakeholders can now easily view GAAP, Adjusted GAAP, and Pro Forma data across the enterprise, enabling faster and more informed decision‑making. The elimination of manual report preparation reduced close timelines by multiple days and improved overall reporting accuracy. In addition, the organization established a strong foundation for AI‑driven forecasting and anomaly detection initiatives, positioning leadership to proactively address risks and opportunities as the business continues to grow.

As OneStream Practice Leader, he leads teams in delivering high‑impact OneStream implementations for enterprise and private equity-backed clients. With deep expertise in corporate performance management and financial systems design, he partners closely with CFOs, controllers, and their finance organizations to build scalable, efficient, and future‑ready consolidation, planning and reporting environments.
Before joining WilliamsMarston, Ryan was with AIT Consulting, acquired by WilliamsMarston in 2025. Prior to AIT, Ryan was a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal where he advised clients in the Energy and Distribution industries on financial close consolidations, budgeting and forecasting transformations, long‑term strategic financial modeling, and improved end‑of‑period and SEC reporting processes. He has deep experience managing enterprise financial software implementations, including OneStream XF, SAP BPC, and Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Hyperion Financial Management.
Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and is a OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Lead Architect R1.
Ryan holds a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

With deep expertise in corporate performance management and financial systems design, he partners closely with CFOs, controllers, and their finance organizations to build scalable, efficient, and future‑ready consolidation and reporting environments.
Before joining WilliamsMarston, Ben was with AIT Consulting, acquired by WilliamsMarston in 2025. Prior to AIT, Ben held roles in management consulting and corporate finance, focusing on financial reporting, close management, budgeting and forecasting, and broader FP&A initiatives. Throughout his career, he has driven a meaningful impact through process improvement and standardization initiatives, system implementations, and cost reduction projects.
Ben is a OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Lead Architect R1 and serves on the OneStream Partner Advisory Board. He has led more than 120 OneStream projects for over 50 clients across a wide range of industries and company sizes, delivering functionality including consolidation, annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, long range planning, people and capital planning, account reconciliation, transaction matching, task manager, close manager, guided reporting, parcel service, and more.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
