WilliamsMarston Expands Tangible Asset Valuation Capabilities
Enhanced in-house expertise strengthens integrated valuation delivery across complex transactions and reporting requirements
WilliamsMarston, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, technology, transaction, and valuation advisory services, today announced an expansion of its tangible asset valuation capabilities in response to growing client demand for comprehensive valuation support across increasingly complex environments.
Tangible asset valuation – covering real estate, machinery, equipment, and other physical assets – adds an important dimension to WilliamsMarston’s existing valuation capabilities, which include business valuation, purchase price allocation, ASC 718 and 409A compliance, and valuations prepared for financial and tax reporting purposes.
To support this expansion, the Firm has appointed two Directors – Bryan Downs, ASA and Brett Campbell, MAI – to its tangible asset valuation team. Bryan Downs joins the firm from EY LLP’s Strategy and Transactions practice, bringing more than 15 years of experience in tangible asset valuation as well as valuations involving embedded software, personal property, and asset useful lives. Brett Campbell joins the firm from RSM US LLP’s real estate valuation team, adding more than 12 years of real estate valuation and advisory experience across all major property types.
“As transactions become more complex and the scrutiny around valuation assumptions continues to rise, expanding our in-house tangible asset expertise is essential” said Joseph McKneely, WilliamsMarston Partner and National Valuation Leader. “Bryan and Brett’s joining further strengthens our ability to deliver rigorous, defensible, and integrated valuation analyses with the level of precision and responsiveness our clients expect.”
