Yazmin brings more than 7 years of accounting and reporting experience to WilliamsMarston.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Yazmin was a Senior Manager in the audit practice at KPMG LLP in San Diego. While at KPMG, Yazmin’s clients included both public and private companies primarily in the life science industries. She provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. While at the firm she assisted clients through the initial public offering process, first year SOX 404(b) compliance, as well as many debt and equity financings. She also supported her clients in technical transactions in accordance with ASC 606 Revenue, ASC 480 Distinguishing Liabilities from Equity, ASC 718 Stock-Based Compensation, and ASC 805 Business Combinations. Yazmin was selected to be a National Instructor for the firm facilitating training to fellow KPMG employees on new accounting standards and implementation of firm methodologies.

Yazmin Richter is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a Spanish minor from the University of San Diego and a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from the University of San Diego.
