Sam brings nine years of corporate tax experience to WilliamsMarston.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Sam worked at KPMG LLP and Deloitte Tax LLP where he specialized in Corporate Tax and ASC740 services. Sam has previously advised clients on a variety of matters including tax provision preparation, tax return compliance, financial statement tax provision audits, tax technology and system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, US tax implications from foreign operations, and various other tax consulting projects.

During his time in public accounting, Sam led various outsource, co-source, and insource tax engagements allowing him to work closely with his clients’ Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions to deliver unique and cost-effective tax solutions. Sam’s public accounting journey has led him to serve mainly multinational clients across the manufacturing, software and technology, pharmaceuticals, and insurance industries – both public and private. His experience also encompasses facilitating national and local trainings, participating on leadership committees, mentoring, recruiting, and community service.

Sam is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with specializations in Accounting and Economics.
