With 18 years of experience advising on complex financial transactions, Rocky Hunt brings Big 4 rigor and a pragmatic, partner-led approach to WilliamsMarston’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory practice. A trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and private equity operating partners seeking agile solutions beyond traditional advisory models, he specializes in guiding middle-market and growth-stage companies through high-stakes events such as carveouts, divestitures, IPOs and business combinations.

Since joining WilliamsMarston, Rocky has advised clients in the logistics and insurance industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including consolidations, business combinations, SEC reporting and revenue recognition.

Before joining WilliamsMarston, Rocky led technical accounting and transaction advisory teams at KPMG LLP and Embark, where he delivered SEC-compliant financial reporting for both private middle market and public companies. Rocky’s expertise spans revenue recognition, lease accounting, public debt offerings, business combinations and post-acquisition financial operations.

Rocky holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Accounting from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.
