Manager – Accounting Advisory

Parker brings five years of accounting and financial reporting advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Parker has advised clients in the entertainment, retail, and clinical research industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including carve-out accounting, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, revenue recognition, and the implementation of new lease standards.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Associate in the Accounting & Reporting Advisory and Audit practices at Deloitte LLP in Atlanta, where he served both public and private clients across the financial technology (FinTech), cryptocurrency, financial services, and private equity industries. While at Deloitte, he advised on a variety of technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, purchase price accounting, goodwill impairment, SOX 404B implementation, and ESG reporting. He also led financial and operational control assessments and supported clients with SEC reporting and regulatory compliance.

Parker is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and holds a Master of Science in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Mississippi.
