Managing Director – Valuation

Juan brings more than 16 years of expertise in financial advisory and valuation services to WilliamsMarston. He has extensive experience across the upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services segments of the oil and gas industry, as well as the minerals and mining industries. Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Juan was a key member of Deloitte LLP’s advisory practice in Houston, where he specialized in delivering valuation and financial consulting solutions to energy clients.

Throughout his career, Juan has led a wide range of corporate financial advisory engagements, including valuations for tax planning and reporting, consulting on equity interests in private and public companies, fresh start accounting valuations, purchase price allocations under GAAP, IFRS, and tax standards, as well as goodwill and long-lived asset impairment analyses. 

Juan has been a guest speaker at the American Society of Appraisers Midstream Conference and a panelist at the American Society of Appraisers Energy Conference, both held in Houston, TX.

Before his tenure at Deloitte, Juan gained diverse professional experience as a broker for Lehman Brothers in Miami, FL, and as an intern at NASA Johnson Space Center during his time as a student at Rice University.

Juan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
