Director – Accounting Advisory

Gianni brings eight years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Gianni has advised clients in the pharmaceutical, hospitality, professional services, insurance, and biotechnology industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, ASC 842 implementation, purchasing accounting, contingent purchase consideration, debt and equity financings, and segment reporting. Gianni has also assisted clients with interim financial and management reporting support, as well as audit preparedness. He has also advised clients in multiple areas of financial effectiveness, month end close enhancements, audit project management, cash flow management, management/lender reporting and analysis. Gianni has served in interim management roles for both public and private companies in the medical device, biotechnology, and business services industries.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Gianni worked in the Audit practice of KPMG LLP’s New York City office. While at KPMG, Gianni served as the in-charge Senior on a large global SEC registrant in the pharmaceutical industry. He has extensive experience providing audit services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and has advised clients in the retail, mining, technology and consumer products industries.

Gianni is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He holds a Master of Science degree in Forensic Accounting as well Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University at Albany.
