Manager – Accounting Advisory

Ed brings five years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, and technical advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, he has supported clients across the biotechnology, life sciences, technology, pharmaceuticals, and software/SaaS industries. His work includes advising on a broad range of technical accounting matters, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, consolidations, business combinations, ASC 842 lease accounting, inventory accounting, SOX readiness and compliance, preferred stock arrangements, convertible debt, debt and equity financings, and SEC reporting.

Ed has also served in key interim management roles, including Interim Manager of Global Consolidations for a private pharmaceuticals company and Interim Senior Revenue Accountant for a SaaS company, where he helped stabilize close processes, enhance internal controls, and improve reporting accuracy.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Ed was a Senior Associate in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston. His clients included public and private companies in the technology, retail, and aerospace & defense sectors. While at PwC, he gained significant experience with US GAAP, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and technical areas including lease accounting, revenue recognition, and stock-based compensation.

Ed is a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire, graduating summa cum laude.
