Catherine brings 18 years of technical accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Catherine has advised clients on a range of transaction-related matters, including business combinations, carve-outs and spin-offs, discontinued operations, financing transactions, and IPO readiness. She serves clients across the life sciences, entertainment, software, manufacturing, and financial services industries and provides technical accounting guidance in areas such as consolidation, impairment of goodwill, intangible and long-lived assets, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and complex financial instruments, including convertible debt, preferred stock and warrants.
Prior to WilliamsMarston, Catherine served as a Director of Global Accounting Policy at Citigroup, where she managed the team responsible for technical accounting related to M&A, new standard implementations, and other company-wide strategic initiatives. Catherine began her career in the Audit practice at KPMG LLP, first in Los Angeles and then New York, primarily serving companies in the financial services industry.
Catherine is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pepperdine University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
