Retired Audit Partner – Deloitte Atlanta

Bob is a recently retired audit partner and a member of WilliamsMarston’s Strategic Advisory Board, where he provides strategic counsel to the leadership team as the firm scales its national accounting, tax, valuation, and transaction advisory services for pre-IPO, public, and private equity-backed companies navigating rapid growth and transformation.

He draws on more than 40 years of Big Four experience serving high-growth public and private companies across the technology, services, manufacturing, and consumer sectors. During his career at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, Bob led the Atlanta Emerging Company practices at both firms and served as engagement partner for over a dozen IPOs. He worked closely with private equity-backed companies from initial investment through exit and advised clients on SEC compliance, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley readiness, and audit committee matters as a qualified financial expert.

Bob’s international experience includes overseeing audit engagements across 17+ countries, and he frequently supported clients through the setup and management of global finance operations in India and Poland.

Bob holds B.S. degrees in Accounting and Economics, as well as Computer Science, from North Carolina State University. He is a CPA in Georgia and a member of the AICPA and Georgia Society of CPAs.
