Director – Valuations

Amanda brings eight years of valuations, financial reporting and tax experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients in the financial services, biotechnology, healthcare, software, and consumer products industries. Amanda has advised clients on financial reporting matters such as purchase price allocations, portfolio company valuation, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, stock compensation, as well as tax reporting matters including 409A and gift and estate tax evaluations.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Amanda spent two years at a global investment management firm in Dallas, Texas where she worked on portfolio accounting and valuations across a wide range of public and private investments. Amanda started her career in the Financial Services Tax practice at EY LLP in San Francisco where she oversaw the preparation of various partnership tax filings, including complex waterfall calculations and security analysis, and assisted asset management clients with tax technical issues. Her prior industry experience includes private equity, hedge funds and venture capital.

Amanda is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and holds a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
