Ali brings nine years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients in the biotechnology, medical device, software/SaaS and telecommunications industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, SEC reporting, stock-based compensation and financial statement preparation. Ali has served in interim management roles for both public and private companies in the medical device, biotechnology, insurance, and education industries.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Ali was a Senior Associate in the Assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston where she primarily served banking and insurance clients. While at PwC, Ali was the lead senior on one of the firm’s largest public banking clients. She has extensive experience providing services pertaining to US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, SEC reporting, stock-based compensation, and financial statement preparation. Ali has served as an interim External Reporting manager for a medical equipment manufacturing company as well as an accounting manager for a biotechnology research company.

Ali is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from Providence College.
