WilliamsMarston Welcomes Newest Advisory Partner Michael Blechschmidt
WilliamsMarston, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, technology, transaction and valuation advisory services, has expanded its Advisory practice with the addition of Mike Blechschmidt, a new partner based in Atlanta.
Blechschmidt brings more than 13 years of accounting and reporting experience to WilliamsMarston across a broad range of industries including financial services, technology, software-as-a-service, transportation, and healthcare.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Mike was a Managing Director at KPMG LLP in the firm’s Audit practice, where he provided assurance services to one of the firm’s most high-profile public clients pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, business combinations, and system integrations. He has advised private clients on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of accounting standards. While at KPMG, Mike also served in its Department of Professional Practice where he provided technical accounting advice to client teams, and acted as a PCAOB liaison, and a member of its Root Cause and Collaboration Group.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Mathematics from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
