WilliamsMarston Welcomes New Transaction Services Leader Chris Nelms
The Addition of Nelms Expands the Firm’s M&A Services Offering
BOSTON, June 18, 2024 – WilliamsMarston LLC, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, and valuation services, has expanded its Advisory practice with the addition of Chris Nelms, a new Transaction Advisory Services leader.
Nelms’ joining signals WilliamsMarston’s continued expansion in the mergers and acquisitions advisory space. He will focus primarily on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and post-close advisory services for clients as they navigate complex acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalizations.

Chris brings over 25 years of extensive experience in accounting, advisory, and leadership, specializing in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and post-close advisory services. His expertise spans diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, consumer products, and business services, supporting M&A transactions globally.
Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Chris served as the TAS Financial Southeast Regional Leader at BDO and as a Senior Director of Deals, Transaction Services at PwC, where he gained significant experience in Europe. Chris began his career at Deloitte and is a CPA in Texas. He holds a BBA in International Accounting from Texas A&M University.
