WilliamsMarston Announces Addition of Bjorn Malmlund as Forensic Accounting Partner
Malmlund expands the Firm’s offerings with new forensic accounting services
WilliamsMarston, a national leader in complex accounting, tax, technology, transaction and valuation advisory services, is pleased to announce the addition of Bjorn Malmlund as a Forensic Accounting Advisory Partner based in Southern California.
With the addition of Bjorn, WilliamsMarston will expand their offerings to include Forensic Accounting. This will include investigations, dispute support and expert testimony, post-acquisition dispute resolution, and compliance-related matters.

Bjorn Malmlund brings more than 35 years of experience to WilliamsMarston, where his expertise enhances the Firm’s growing suite of services. He has directed and conducted numerous investigations for public and private companies, leading independent and internal inquiries on behalf of boards, special committees, and audit committees. Over his career, Bjorn has assisted attorneys and their clients in more than 300 disputes as a consultant, testifying expert, or third-party neutral, with extensive experience providing expert testimony in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and before the ICC International Court of Arbitration. His work spans investigations, disputes, and compliance-related matters across industries such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, media and entertainment, technology and more.
Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Bjorn held senior leadership roles as Americas Leader of EY’s Disputes practice and West Region Leader of EY’s Forensics practice. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California, accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the AICPA, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
