WilliamsMarston LLC (“WilliamsMarston”) today announced the promotions of Samuel Boers to Director, Lauren Fitzgerald and Dat Le to Manager, and Margaret Berkeley to Corporate Controller effective January 1, 2020. Samuel Boers, Director – Boston, MA

Mr. Boers joined WilliamsMarston in 2018 from EY’s Assurance practice.  Since joining WilliamsMarston, he has advised clients on a variety of matters including the new revenue recognition and leasing standards, consolidations, business combinations, SEC reporting and complex financial instruments.  Mr. Boers has also served as an interim Corporate Controller for a private equity-backed manufacturing company assisting with liquidity and cash management and other critical finance and reporting initiatives.  While at EY, he focused on clients in the life sciences, healthcare, technology, and manufacturing industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Lauren Fitzgerald, Manager – Boston, MA

Ms. Fitzgerald joined WilliamsMarston in 2019 from The Davis Companies, a real estate investment firm. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Ms. Fitzgerald has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting and financial reporting matters in the life sciences industry including revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, SEC reporting and audit preparedness. Prior to The Davis Companies, she worked at Boston Properties in the corporate accounting group. Ms. Fitzgerald began her career in PwC’s Assurance practice. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and accounting from the College of the Holy Cross where she graduated Cum Laude.

Dat Le, Manager – Boston, MA

Mr. Le joined WilliamsMarston in 2018 from Deloitte’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, he has advised clients in the biotechnology, software, and healthcare industries on the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments, revenue recognition, foreign currency matters and various other accounting topics. Mr. Le also served in an interim FP&A role at a major healthcare client for over six months. While at Deloitte, he focused on clients primarily in the healthcare and software industries. He holds a Master of Science degree in accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from Suffolk University.

Margaret Berkeley, Corporate Controller

Ms. Berkeley joined WilliamsMarston in 2017 from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Ms. Berkeley has served as the Finance and Operations Manager, responsible for internal accounting, human resources and other critical initiatives. While at PwC, Ms. Berkeley served clients in the real estate and alternative investment industries. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Babson College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
