WilliamsMarston LLC (“WM”), a nationally recognized leading provider of accounting, tax and valuation advisory services announces Partner, Managing Director, Director and Manager promotions effective January 1, 2023.

Stephanie Chen – Tax; West Coast

Ms. Chen joined WilliamsMarston from Moffett & Associates where she focused on providing complex tax consulting, compliance, and income tax accounting service to both public and privately held companies. Her expertise includes extensive experience with ASC 740, accounting for income taxes, purchase accounting, federal and state income tax compliance for corporations and partnerships, federal and state income tax examinations, merger and acquisitions, state nexus analysis, and Section 162(m) and Section 280G executive compensation analysis. Stephanie’s extensive industry experience includes broker dealer, financial institution, and investment company. Stephanie is a Certified Public Accountant in California and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Managing Director

Andrew Barnes – Advisory; NYC

Mr. Barnes joined WilliamsMarston from EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Andrew has assisted clients across a number of complex areas including mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integration, treasury, financial planning and analysis, cash forecasting, finance effectiveness, and process optimization. He has also served as Interim Controller and Interim Director of Accounting for both publicly traded and privately held companies within the manufacturing, media, life sciences, and food manufacturing spaces. Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint John’s University where he graduated cum laude. Andrew also holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Saint John’s University.

Tracy Araula – Advisory; NYC

Ms. Araula joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG’s Audit practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Tracy has advised  clients in the telecommunications, technology, life sciences, retail and biotechnology industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, business combinations, hedge accounting, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, SEC reporting and audit preparedness. Tracy has also provided interim management for a public telecommunications company and a private technology company. Tracy is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Connecticut and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Asian Studies from Fairfield University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Matthew Borges – Tax; Boston

Mr. Borges joined WilliamsMarston from EY’s Tax Accounting & Risk Advisory Services practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Matt has advised clients in the aerospace and defense, life sciences, software, biotechnology, manufacturing and real estate industries. He has advised multi-national publicly traded, as well as privately held clients on a variety of income tax matters including annual and interim income tax provision preparation and the related financial statement disclosures, income tax compliance, and other complex corporate tax matters. Matt holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Bryant University as well as a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University, where he graduated cum laude.

Nolan Kiernan – Advisory; Boston

Mr. Kiernan joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Nolan has advised clients on purchase accounting, the new leasing standard, SEC reporting, IPO readiness, audit preparedness and policies and procedures. He has also assisted various clients in the life sciences industry with process improvement around the monthly close, including significant experience with research and development accruals and stock-based compensation. Nolan is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, where he graduated cum laude.

Laura Mullen – Advisory; Boston

Ms. Mullen joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Laura has advised clients in the healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and biotechnology industries. She has advised clients on a variety of accounting matters, including revenue recognition, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, purchase price allocations, audit preparedness and business process improvements. Laura has also served as interim controller at several life sciences and biotechnology companies. Laura is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University.

Ludo Borghi – Valuation; Tucson

Mr. Borghi joined WilliamsMarston from Oracle Capital LLC. Ludovico’s valuation expertise includes assisting both privately-held and public companies with their valuation of complex securities, including convertible debt, warrants, stock option plans, and performance share units. His industry experience includes Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs), technology, biotechnology, and life sciences. Ludovico holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.

Anthony DeCicco – Valuation; NYC

Mr. DeCicco joined WilliamsMarston from Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC. Anthony has advised numerous clients ranging from early-stage venture backed entities to Fortune 100 companies with their complex financial and tax reporting valuation matters, including the valuation of common stock in privately held companies and financial reporting valuation issues related to purchase price allocations as well as goodwill and intangible asset impairments. Anthony holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Wagner College, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Dillon Drukker – Advisory; NYC

Ms. Drukker joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG’s Audit practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Dillon has advised clients in the telecommunications, life sciences, consumer products, retail and technology industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, inventory, R&D activities, special purpose acquisitions and SEC reporting. She has also performed financial due diligence and finance transformation services for various companies. Dillon has served in an interim management role assisting the R&D accounting function of a public pharmaceutical company. Dillon is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Marketing from Binghamton University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Josh Pratt Ferguson – Valuation; Tucson

Mr. Ferguson joined WilliamsMarston from Oracle Capital LLC. Josh has assisted numerous clients ranging from early-stage to Fortune 500 public companies with international operations across many industries including life sciences, healthcare, technology, energy, industrials, and media & entertainment. His valuation expertise includes financial reporting matters including stock-based compensation, complex debt and equity instruments, convertible debt, revenue recognition under ASC 606, contingent consideration, goodwill impairment, and tax reporting matters such as 409a valuations. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.

Michael Glatt – Tax; West Coast

Mr. Glatt joined WilliamsMarston from Moffett & Associates, Inc. Michael’s experience includes the preparation of interim and year-end income tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures and assistance with federal and state income tax compliance, due diligence support, and other complex tax matters.  His clients included public and privately held corporate and partnership companies mostly in financial services including banking, broker-dealers and other lending practices as well as software, biotechnology and internet advertising. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accountancy from California State University, Long Beach.

Nicholas Koshansky – Advisory; NYC

Mr. Koshansky joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG’s Audit practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Nick has advised clients in the retail, media and entertainment, and home renovation industries. He has advised clients on financial effectiveness and has also served in an interim management role assisting the technical revenue accounting function of a public software company. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Nicole Lambi – Advisory; Boston

Ms. Lambi joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston Nicole has advised clients in the biotechnology and telecommunications industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including consolidations, stock-based compensation, collaboration arrangements, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Nicole has also served as an interim controller for a private biotechnology company. Nicole is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Anthony Madrigal – Valuation; West Coast

Mr. Madrigal joined WilliamsMarston from Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC. Anthony’s valuation expertise includes advising clients on common stock in privately held companies, portfolio company investments, equities and intangible assets in the context of mergers and acquisitions, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reporting. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Gonzaga University.

Mitcheel Torres Marrujo – Valuation; Tucson

Mr. Marrujo joined WilliamsMarston from Oracle Capital LLC. Mitcheel has deep expertise in the life sciences, technology, biopharma, private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital industries. He has advised clients on the valuation of various complex and derivative financial instruments for financial and tax reporting and management planning purposes, including equity, complex debt, cryptocurrency, and contingent consideration valuations. Mitcheel is enrolled in the CFA Program to obtain the highest set of credentials in the global investment management industry. He holds a Master of Science in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from The University of Arizona – Eller College of Management, with concentrations in Investment Management; and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, Magna Cum Laude, from The University of Arizona – Eller College of Management.

Joseph McWeeney – Advisory; Boston

Mr. McWeeney joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Joe has advised clients in the software, media, biotechnology, retail, healthcare and life sciences industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition under ASC 606, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants, and preferred stock. Joe has also assisted clients with IPO readiness and audit preparedness. Joe has served as an interim controller for a private life sciences company. McWeeney is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Babson College.

Alissa Pappano – Advisory; Boston

Ms. Pappano joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Ali has advised clients in the biotechnology, medical device, software/SaaS, and telecommunications industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, SEC reporting, stock-based compensation, and financial statement preparation. Ali has served in interim management roles for both public and private companies in the medical device and biotechnology industries. Ali is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from Providence College.

Nicholas Petrarca – Advisory; NYC

Mr. Petrarca joined WilliamsMarston from PwC’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Nick has advised clients in the biotechnology, software, telecommunications and manufacturing industries on a variety of accounting matters including IPO readiness, business combinations, and complex financial instruments, including convertible debt and warrants. He has also advised clients on audit preparedness and business process improvement, as well as SEC Reporting for Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (“SPACs”). Nick has served as an interim assistant controller, as well as a financial planning and analysis analyst for privately held companies. Nick is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University.

Michelle Shafferman – Advisory; Boston

Ms. Shafferman joined WilliamsMarston from EY’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Michelle has assisted clients in the technology, software, biotechnology and manufacturing industries. She has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, business combinations, stock-based compensation and the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments including debt and warrants. Michelle has also assisted clients with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, process improvement around the month-end close, month-end consolidation, as well as audit preparedness and policies and procedures. Michelle has also served in an interim FP&A role for a privately held company in the technology industry. Michelle is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting for which she graduated summa cum laude and a Master of Accountancy, both from Bentley University.

Gianni Spensieri – Advisory; NYC

Mr. Spensieri joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG’s Audit practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Gianni has advised clients in a variety of industries such as biotechnology, home remodeling and consumers goods. He has advised clients on a variety of accounting matters including revenue recognition, ASC 842 implementation, purchasing accounting, and debt and equity financings. Gianni has also assisted clients with interim financial and management reporting support, as well as audit preparedness. He holds a Master of Science degree in Forensic Accounting as well Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University at Albany.

Jack Tower – Tax; Boston

Mr. Tower joined WilliamsMarston from EY’s tax practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Jack has advised clients in the life sciences, consumer products and pharmaceutical industries on ASC 740, accounting for income taxes, including the preparation of the corporate income tax provision and the related financial statement disclosures, and income tax compliance. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing from Boston College.

Jennson Wong — Valuation; Tucson

Mr. Wong joined WilliamsMarston from Oracle Capital. Jennson’s experience includes purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, stock-based compensation, and complex debt and equity instruments as well as tax reporting matters such as 409a valuations. Prior to Oracle Capital, Jennson worked for the Valuation, Modeling and Economics practice at EY Cayman Ltd. where he reviewed hundreds of portfolio company valuations. Jennson is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is Accredited in Business Valuations by the AICPA. He has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Finance from The College of New Jersey.

Henry Wu – Advisory; Boston

Mr. Wu joined WilliamsMarston from EY’s Assurance practice. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Henry has advised clients in the software, life sciences, biotechnology, technology and media industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, SEC reporting for debt and equity transactions, asset recognition, asset acquisitions, and stock-based compensation. He has also supported clients with audit readiness and process improvement. Henry has experience serving in interim accounting and finance roles for multiple biotechnology companies. Henry is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University, where he graduated cum laude.
