Valuation Manager

The Opportunity
As a member of the Valuation Team, you will provide a broad array of expert valuation opinions and advisory services for a wide variety of purposes, including financial reporting, tax reporting, dispute resolution and other corporate financial matters. In this role, you will:
- Advise market-leading clients on complex financial reporting, tax reporting, dispute resolution and other corporate financial matters
- Manage valuation process including determining project scope, leading client interviews, and meeting deliverable timelines
- Prepare and review the preparation of client deliverables including development of financial models, application of valuation methodologies, and narrative reports
- Manage client relationships and participate in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Serve as project leader, providing real time feedback and guidance to junior team members
- Present conclusions to Team, clients, and client auditors
- Additional related duties and responsibilities as needed
The Candidate
Highly motivated and well-rounded professionals committed to contributing to the growth and future success of our firm. Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics, with a record of academic achievement
- 4+ years of valuation experience with thorough knowledge of methodologies to value shares in privately held companies and perform purchase price allocations
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent teaming skills, as well as the ability to work independently and lead a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality client service
- Capable of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Team oriented with strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm
