Rich brings over a decade of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining the firm, he has primarily supported clients in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, advising on finance effectiveness initiatives such as Gross-to-Net and clinical trial accruals, SOX 404(b) compliance, and a range of complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, and debt and equity transactions. Rich has also served as interim Director of External Reporting and Clinical Accruals for a publicly traded biotechnology company.
Prior to WilliamsMarston, Rich most recently was a Manager in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Florham Park, New Jersey, where he spent a total of seven years. While at PwC, Rich’s clients included both public and private companies where he provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and various technical accounting matters. Rich’s industry experience has been focused across the broader healthcare landscape, including pharmaceuticals, diagnostic services and value-based care, amongst others. He also spent two years as a Principal at an early-stage professional services company, leading the build out and scale of their financial infrastructure and the operational processes of the business.
Rich is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from King’s College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
