Pat brings 10 years of valuation advisory, corporate finance, and M&A consulting experience to WilliamsMarston. His valuation experience includes financial reporting matters such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocation, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, stock-based compensation, common stock in privately held companies as well as tax reporting matters such as 409a valuations. Pat’s broad industry experience comprises a variety of financial services, including extensive experience advising private equity clients. Pat also has experience advising clients in the healthcare, SaaS, and renewable energy industries as well as a range of consumer and industrial products businesses.
Prior to WilliamsMarston, Pat worked at Blockchain.com advising the CFO on valuation, M&A, and capital financing matters. Before joining Blockchain.com, Pat was a Manager at Grant Thornton providing valuation and transaction consulting services. Pat managed a variety of valuation projects while at Grant Thornton LLP, including large scale purchase price allocations for both financial reporting and tax planning purposes, goodwill and asset impairment studies, and equity valuations for privately-held companies. He also managed the valuation of portfolio companies and other investments for several private equity clients. Pat’s experience includes a total of eight years at Grant Thornton in Chicago and Atlanta and one year at Alvarez & Marsal Valuation in Atlanta.
Pat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated magna cum laude.
