Boston, MA — July 1, 2022 — WilliamsMarston LLC (“WM”), a nationally recognized leading provider of accounting, tax and valuation advisory recently announced the promotions of Ethan Cislaghi, Greg McKenzie, Sam Nudelman, Alec Goolsby, Elysa Cohen, Nicole Lee, Pooja Verma and Natasha Antonellis.

Ethan Cislaghi, Partner – Denver, CO

Mr. Cislaghi joined WilliamsMarston from Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC, where he advised numerous clients ranging from early-stage venture backed entities to Fortune 100 companies with their complex valuation matters related to financial, tax reporting and litigation. Prior to BVA, Mr. Cislaghi was in Deloitte LLP’s Transactions and Business Analytics valuation practice for more than 12 years. In this capacity, he provided advisory services on complex financial modeling and developed deal models to assist with the assessment of strategic alternatives. He also reviewed hundreds of valuation analyses prepared by, or on behalf of, audit clients. Prior to Deloitte, he worked in the forensic and litigation support services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. His extensive valuation experience includes financial reporting matters such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocation, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, stock-based compensation, tax reporting matters such as 409a valuations as well as litigation matters, solvency and fairness opinions. His broad industry experience includes technology, healthcare and life sciences. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters in Finance from Texas A&M.

Greg McKenzie, Partner – Boston, MA

Mr. McKenzie joined WilliamsMarston from Alcatel-Lucent, where he coordinated and managed multiple strategic programs substantially impacting the way the business operated. These programs included driving significant global efficiency programs through organizational redesign and the adoption of Lean and Six-Sigma techniques. Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, he held senior roles within a number of prominent technology organizations, specializing in strategic planning, execution and organizational change. He has also held management positions across several operational functions. Mr. McKenzie began his career at Deloitte, Haskins + Sells London audit practice focusing on technology and media-based industries. Since joining WilliamsMarston, he has advised clients on a variety of operational challenges including a cross-functional operational review to deliver sustainable process improvement for a multi-billion-dollar telecommunications organization, post-merger carve-out and integration planning for a global software company and a financial effectiveness design and delivery project for a multi-location manufacturing group. Additionally, he has served as the interim CFO for a number of clients. Mr. McKenzie holds a Foundation Degree in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

Sam Nudelman, Partner – West Coast

Mr. Nudelman joined WilliamsMarston from Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC, where he advised numerous clients ranging from early-stage venture backed entities to Fortune 100 companies with their complex valuations for financial, tax reporting and litigation matters. His extensive valuation expertise includes financial reporting matters such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, complex debt and equity instruments, stock-based compensation, tax reporting matters such as 409a and intellectual property valuations as well as litigation matters, solvency and fairness opinions. His broad industry experience includes healthcare, life sciences, technology and investment management. Mr. Nudelman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors.

Alec Goolsby, Managing Director – Boston, MA

Mr. Goolsby joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG LLP, where he advised private equity firms and multinational strategic acquirers on due diligence and complex tax structuring of potential acquisition targets. Prior to KPMG, he spent seven years in the corporate tax practice at RSM US LLP, where he rose to the level of Senior Manager. While at RSM, he provided corporate tax consulting and tax compliance services to both private and publicly held middle-market companies. Since joining WilliamsMarston, his primary practice areas have included US federal and state taxation, mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, and accounting for income taxes, including financial statement disclosures, purchase accounting, valuation allowance assessments, analysis of uncertain tax positions and accounting for stock-based compensation. He has vast experience both in preparing and reviewing complex provisions for income taxes under ASC 740 and has recently served as interim tax director for a public technology company. He holds a Master of Science in Taxation degree from the University of Denver. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a Commonwealth Honors College Scholar with greatest distinction.

Elysa Cohen, Manager – New York, NY

Ms. Cohen joined WilliamsMarston from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she served both public and private clients in the technology and media industries. While at PwC, she provided audit services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients in the life sciences, software, healthcare, and media and entertainment industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition under ASC 606, IPO readiness, stock-based compensation, business combinations, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants and preferred stock. She has also served in accounting and finance interim roles for several private biotechnology and media entertainment companies. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Business Law from Tulane University.

Nicole Lee, Manager – New York, NY

Ms. Lee joined WilliamsMarston from KPMG LLP where her clients included large, global SEC registrants in the pharmaceutical, media and consumer product industries. While at KPMG, she provided audit and advisory services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients on a variety of complex matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, ASC 842, finance effectiveness, IPO readiness, audit readiness, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. She has also served in an interim role for a public biotechnology company. She holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.

Pooja Verma, Manager – Boston, MA

Ms. Verma joined WilliamsMarston from Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC, where she advised numerous clients ranging from early-stage venture backed entities to Fortune 100 companies with their complex financial and tax reporting valuation matters including stock-based compensation, company valuations, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, option grants pursuant to IRC 409a, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants and preferred stock. Prior to BVA, she was an Associate in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP in Houston, Texas where she provided audit and advisory services pertaining to US GAAP, IFRS and SEC reporting to a variety of clients in the energy industry. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients in the life sciences, technology and energy industries. Her valuation expertise includes financial reporting matters such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, lease accounting, stock compensation, and tax reporting matters such as 409a and intangible asset valuations. She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from University of Houston and a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India.

Natasha Antonellis, Assistant Controller – Boston, MA

Ms. Antonellis joined WilliamsMarston from EY LLP where she served clients ranging from emerging growth to large multinational public companies in the biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices, and real estate industries. Her experience includes the detailed analysis of balance sheet accounts, profit and loss, cash flow and shareholder’s equity as well as reviewing and auditing SEC filings, including form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1 and S-3, revenue recognition under ASC 606, Stock-based Compensation, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Since joining WilliamsMarston, she has advised clients on a variety of accounting matters including purchase accounting, consolidations, stock-based compensation, financial statement preparation and the implementation of the new lease accounting standard. She has also supported clients with project management and process improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
