Michael brings over nine years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Michael has advised clients on initial public offerings, SPAC transactions and various complex technical accounting matters including revenue recognition under ASC 606, lease accounting under ASC 842, inventory, goodwill/intangible assets, film cost accounting under ASC 926, asset impairment, segment reporting, foreign currency, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Michael also has assisted clients with process improvement and served in an interim management role for a publicly traded company. His industry expertise spans private and public companies in the media, retail, consumer and industrial products and health industries.
Prior to WilliamsMarston, Michael was a Manager in the Retail, Consumer and Industrial Products assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston. While at PwC, his clients included various private and public companies with a focus on several of the firm’s largest retail clients. Michael provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance with extensive experience in inventory and cash flows.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, where he graduated summa cum laude.
