Michael Curtiss

Partner – Advisory

Mike brings over 25 years of accounting advisory, management consulting and executive management experience to WilliamsMarston. Prior to WilliamsMarston, Mike was a partner in KPMG LLP’s Deal Advisory and Strategy practice. While at KPMG, Mike focused on leading cross functional due diligence engagements for strategic and private equity clients ranging from $50 million to $40 billion in enterprise value.

Mike’s areas of expertise include performing business and financial due diligence while coordinating with and leading various subject matter experts in HR, IT, and operations during the diligence process. In addition to pre-acquisition diligence Mike’s experience includes synergy analysis, integration planning, identifying value creation opportunities and providing FP&A support.

Mike works to support his clients throughout the entire deal cycle, leveraging learnings during the diligence process to advise clients’ post-acquisition. The use of data & analytics to support all work streams is a key tenet of Mike’s approach to performing diligence and adding value for clients post acquisition. Mike’s industry experience includes technology (software, hardware, IT services), consumer & retail, industrial markets, business services and food & beverage.

Mike holds Master in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
