Joe brings 6 years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Joe has assisted clients in the media and entertainment, medical instruments, financial services, life sciences and consumer products industries. He has worked across a variety of complex areas including purchase accounting, revenue recognition, film cost accounting, SEC reporting, and the accounting and reporting for financial instruments including convertible debt and warrants. Joe has assisted clients with cash flow and treasury management, financial modeling and transaction agreement services, as well as supported various clients throughout their IPO and S-4 filing process by assisting in areas such as process improvement, external audit and monthly close. He has also served as an interim revenue manager of a public pharmaceutical company through quarterly SEC filings.
Prior to WilliamsMarston, Joe worked in the Audit practice of KPMG LLP in New York for over two years where his clients included large, global SEC registrants in the financial services and broker-dealer industries. He provided assurance services pertaining to the accounting for complex financial instruments, fair value measurement testing, US GAAP, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Master of Science in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting from St. John’s University, where he graduated cum laude.
