Managing Director – Advisory

Jennifer brings more than 24 years of financial consulting and executive management experience to WilliamsMarston LLC. Prior to WilliamsMarston, Jennifer was a Managing Director at Chord Advisors, LLC, a boutique accounting advisory firm serving more than 400 pre-IPO, public and private equity-backed growth companies on a variety of technical accounting, SEC reporting and capital markets transactions. While at Chord Advisors, Jennifer assisted her clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including complex debt and equity instruments such as preferred stock, convertible debt, warrants, modifications and extinguishments, variable interest entities and consolidations. Her broad industry experience includes financial services, asset management, technology and life sciences.

Prior to Chord Advisors, Jennifer worked in the Accounting Policy group at Jefferies Group in New York, a full-service global investment bank and institutional securities firm. While at Jefferies, Jennifer prepared global fair value and financial instruments disclosures, wrote and implemented firmwide accounting policies, implemented new accounting pronouncements and advised the firm’s senior financial management on technical accounting matters. Prior to Jefferies, Jennifer spent two years at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) working on derivative accounting and disclosure guidance. Prior to the FASB, she was in the Asset Management Controllers’ Group at Morgan Stanley. Jennifer began her career in the Asset Management audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York, where she rose to the level of Manager.

Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut graduating summa cum laude from the honors program.
