Jake Monk

Jake brings accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Jake has assisted clients in the biotechnology, life sciences and consumer goods industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including collaborative arrangements, revenue recognition, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for lease accounting under ASC 842.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Jake worked in the Audit practice of EY LLP in Boston and Cambridge for four years where he served a range of clients from private start-ups to global large-accelerated filers, primarily in the life sciences industry. While at EY, Jake provided assurance services pertaining to US GAAP including ASC 606 and 842 adoption, SEC reporting, business combinations, restructuring activities and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Jake is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from Boston College.
