Greg brings years of accounting, reporting and regulatory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Greg has advised clients in the professional services, financial services, biotechnology, life sciences, and construction industries. He has advised on a variety of technical and accounting matters including IPO readiness, business combinations, spin-offs, discontinued operations, revenue recognition, convertible debt, preferred stock, stock-based compensation, SEC reporting, and segment reporting. He has also assisted with clients with special purpose acquisitions, due diligence, and finance effectiveness.
Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Greg worked as an Inspection Specialist for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Over the course of six years, Greg performed inspection procedures over auditing firms of issuer clients domiciled in Spanish-speaking countries, domestically domiciled issuer clients and Broker-Dealer engagements. The PCAOB has provided Greg with unique insight into the regulatory environment in which issuers, broker-dealers and audit firms operate.
Greg began his career at Deloitte LLP in the Audit and Enterprise Risk Services Assurance practice where he rose to the level of Audit Manager. While at Deloitte, Greg served clients across several industries including healthcare, technology, pharmaceuticals and financial services. Regardless of the industry, Greg leveraged his technical foundation and experience to address accounting and reporting requirements pursuant to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and PCAOB standards.
Greg is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College. Additionally, he is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
