Emily Stevenson

Emily brings 6 years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Emily has assisted clients in the life sciences, biotechnology, software and technology industries on a variety of technical accounting matters including revenue recognition under ASC 606, purchase accounting, lease accounting, stock-based compensation and accounting for financial instruments including convertible debt. She also has played a key role in audit preparedness, IPO readiness, due diligence and carve-out engagements. Emily has also served in an interim technical accounting management role for a public biotech company.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Emily was a Senior Assistant in the Audit practice of Deloitte LLP in Boston where she served companies on multiple audit engagements, primarily in the life sciences industry. While at Deloitte, Emily audited the adoption of the new lease accounting standard, ASC 842, at a large public life sciences company. Her experience also includes Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and employee benefit plan audits.

Emily is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross, where she graduated summa cum laude.
