David Charbonneau

David brings 23 years of experience to WilliamsMarston with expertise in a broad range of accounting and financial topics. His client work has centered on serving large, public organizations in connection with their journey through many challenges, transactions, as well as compliance and regulatory matters in addition to supporting entrepreneurs of high-growth companies throughout their entire life cycle: from development stage, through subsequent rounds of financing and other capital formation transactions, on to an IPO. David’s work has spanned industries, with a concentration in the technology, life sciences, and consumer products spaces.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, David was a Partner in BDO’s Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services (ARAS) group after being a Partner in KPMG LLP’s Audit practice. While at BDO, he provided a broad range of high-level consultive services including capital market transactions, such as IPO/SPAC readiness services and debt and equity offerings, assistance with the reporting associated with bankruptcies and reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures, technical accounting, and reporting advisory matters. While at KPMG, David served as the lead Audit Partner for many public and private companies in addition to being a leader within KPMG’s revenue recognition network.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University and is a CPA in Pennsylvania.
