Christopher Harrington brings years of valuation and consulting expertise to WilliamsMartson.

Prior to joining WilliamsMarston, Chris focused on the financial analysis of privately held companies within the technology, software, telecommunications, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences industries at RSM US LLP. He specializes in the valuations of business enterprises, intangible assets, and equity securities for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, gift and estate tax planning, and litigation support. He has performed valuations for early-stage, pre-revenue startups, late-stage middle-market companies, family limited partnerships, and publicly traded companies. Chris’ financial reporting experiences include engagements for purchase price allocations, impairment testing, and valuation of stock-based compensation. His tax related experience includes valuations performed in connection with the valuation of securities issued as equity compensation to employees as well as valuations performed for gift and estate purposes.

Prior to joining RSM, Chris was a Valuation Analyst at Atlantic Management Company, where he primarily performed valuations for employee stock option plans (ESOPs). Additionally, Chris participated in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, where he valued a public company assigned by the CFA Institute, and he was honored as a finalist within the Southern region of the Americas.

Chris graduated Cum Laude and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, with minors in Mathematics and International Business from Texas State University. He also is a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute. Chris is also currently pursuing the CAIA designation from the CAIA Association.
