The Opportunity

As a member of our leadership team, you will lead client engagements and relationships, working closely with our clients’ senior management and investors, their external auditors, attorneys, bankers and other advisors to implement best practices and solve their most pressing challenges. Leveraging your deep expertise and relationships, you will play a key role in setting our strategy in your local market and conducting key business development activities to expand the firm’s new client relationships. You will also play a key role in attracting and retaining exceptional personnel and developing and maintaining our culture as we grow.

Typical roles and responsibilities may include:
  • Lead client fieldwork across multiple engagement teams, taking a hands-on approach to client work
  • Establish, develop, and manage client relationships
  • Utilize accounting, consulting expertise, and deep industry knowledge to analyze complex client matters and propose value added solutions
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Contribute to thought leadership, the development and evolution of our firm methodologies, and intellectual capital
  • Manage and provide leadership to our professionals, becoming actively involved in coaching, learning, development, and practice valuation advisory
  • Limited travel (10–25%); additional travel opportunities available based on preference

 

The Candidate

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier college or university; Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Licensed CPA
  • 12+ years of accounting, auditing or valuation advisory experience; prior experience with a top tier public accounting firm or global consulting firm preferred;
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Experience in multiple industries; Technology, Software, Life Sciences, Healthcare and/ or Manufacturing industries preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and business writing skills
  • Proven ability to lead multiple engagement teams effectively, drawing out the best in everyone
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Willingness to tackle complex problems head-on, applying conceptual, analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify key drivers and core issues
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about yourself and your industry
