Marcello brings over 20 years of management experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Marcello has advised clients on financial due diligence, initial public offerings, process improvement, technical accounting and audit preparedness.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Marcello held various financial executive roles in health sciences and with the World Food Program in Rome. Additionally, he was a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Transaction Services practice where he provided technical accounting, financial and strategic advice to clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions in a variety of industries. Marcello began his career in PwC’s Boston Assurance practice, focusing on the technology and life science industries. While at PwC, he worked for two years in the Global Capital Markets Group in Italy where he advised foreign registrants on SEC reporting and US GAAP.

Throughout his career, Marcello has provided leadership to clients and engagement teams in the software, technology, healthcare, biotechnology, telecommunications, industrial products, financial services and consumer retail industries. He has advised management and investors on issues pertaining to financial and operational performance improvement, quality of earnings, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, debt and equity offerings and purchase accounting.

Marcello is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
